Rutherford estate vineyard. Our Sauvignon Blanc is grown exclusively on our 48 acre estate vineyard situated in the Rutherford Region of the Napa Valley and is divided into eight sections planted on diverse clones and rootstocks. The 2007 vintage was harvested in the early morning hours of August 15th & 17th, crushed and left to cold soak for 24 hours before being pressed off into five different lots. A cool, slow fermentation in stainless steel tanks allows for maximum retention of the vibrant Sauvignon Blanc flavors. The wine exhibits classic varietal characters of passion fruit, lemon and grapefruit. On the palette, this wine delivers a delightful combination of bold fruit flavors and a crisp, lingering finish. 12.5% alcohol.
