Simi Pinot Noir, Sonoma County, 2009
Since 1876. Sonoma County Pinot Noir. Simi Pinot Noir comes from vineyards in Sonoma county where morning fog is slow to lift and evenings are quickly cooled by the Pacific Ocean. The result is a well-structured, concentrated Pinot Noir offering aromas of dark red fruit and spice. This wine has abundant black cherry, raspberry and gingerbread and a velvety body finish with balanced acidity. This wine pairs well with paella and Tuscan marinated roast pork loin. Alc. 14.5% by vol. Vinted and bottled by Simi winery, Geyserville, California.
