Emmolo Merlot is from vineyards in Napa Valley, most of which have been in family for generations. My great-grandfather came to Rutherford from Sicily in 1923, starting one of Napa Valley's leading grapevine nurseries. My grandfather planted vineyards here in the 1950's and my mother, Cheryl Emmolo, began making Emmolo Wines in 1994. Today, I'm honored to put my own stamp on the Emmolo style. My goal with Merlot is to bring out the full potential of this varietal.
