Rancho Zabaco is named for one of the original Mexican land grants in Northern Sonoma, which crosses over portions of the Russian River Valley, the area from which our grapes are drawn. Rancho Zabaco offers Zinfandel with big, bold, and distinctive varietals crafted for the Zinfandel enthusiast. This wine is produced from the most select lots of Zinfandel grown on Chiotti ranch. It is a rich, ripe, Zinfandel with a soft, broad, fruit-driven mouthfeel. Its aromas of black cherry, licorice, and spice are immediately apparent. Rich, juicy flavors of black cherry and blueberry are framed by fine tannins, Zinfandel spice, and soft, integrated vanilla and ginger from the oak barrels.
