Cooper Cheese, Process American, Sharp
Since 1893. Pasteurized. The original. CV Sharp. Made with milk. In colonial America, the fine craftsmanship of cooper - or barrel maker - was in high demand. Cooper's barrels were necessary for strange and packed with such goods as flour, wine, cheese, tobacco, gun powder, and milk. The art of coopering is one of the tradition, precision, handcrafting, and quality. Today, that same tradition of quality and fine craftsmanship goes into every batch of cooper cheese. It's why the brand has been in demand since 1893. In 1945, the Cooper Victory label (C.V. Sharp) was developed in honor of WWII veterans. Showing pride in our returning veterans with a reference to victory was a common packaging practice of the time. It is with great that we continue to honor that legacy today.
