Banrock Station Chardonnay, South Eastern Australia,1999
It's simple really. You start with rich fertile soil. Into this you plant vine cuttings of noble pedigree. Nature adds water and sunlight. The vines bear fruit. The fruit is picked and with winemaker's care is crushed and fermented. And then you enjoy it. This Chardonnay shows rich melon and peach fruit flavors balanced by subtle oak. It is a medium bodied wine with crisp, fresh finish.
